Pop music generally comprises upbeat rhythms, simple and happy melodies and lyrics related to love, dancing and relationships. Pop music is a vague category that is defined by its prospective market or potential audience of modern times.
Usually, pop songs are written by songwriters who are professional in this field of writing. To attract the attention of people there is need to generate exposure to the written pop song. For this, artists create live performances and music videos to gather the attention of the listeners and media. Music videos are very important source to reach a wide audience even internationally. However, it is apparently that pop song is not only attract young generation, but also people at any age. Many of older people, they are even appreciate pop rock songs or rap songs, which is really good trend that coming in recent years. You may also find that many of pop songs artist have also become TV and movie idol, this is because the popularity of pop songs.
