Hindi pop songs came in existence with Nazia Hassan’s famous song “Aap Jaisa Koi” for the film Qurbani in the 1970s. These were famous Indian artists that experimented with various classical, folk and fusion sounds that became an instant hit as Hindi pop songs. In the UK, where there are millions of the Indian people, it is very obvious that Hindi pop songs are very popular. Indian pop songs are popular among the masses as these songs reflect the upbeat mood of the youth and their aspirations.
