An arrival of hot new albums took over the charts in 2006. There were a good list of pop song during the year. 100 2006 pop songs top included ‘London Bridge’: Fergie, ‘Crazy’: Gnarls Barkley, ‘You’re beautiful’: James Blunt, ‘Wind it up’: Gwen Stefani, ‘Sexy back’: Justin Timberlake, ‘I write sins not tragedies’: Panic at the disco, ‘When you were young’: The Killers and ‘Steady as she goes’: Respect the Racounteurs. After conquering over television, Paris Hilton also tried in the pop music industry with ‘Stars are blind’.


Apart from the names mentioned above, the pop music chart toppers of 2000 included Hilary Duff, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Rihanna and Ashlee Simpson. Robbie Williams was the popular male artist to record the biggest sales worldwide. Well established pop music artists like Madonna, Usher Raymond, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson and Kylie Minogue continued with their success.

Teenage pop singers like Ashley Tisdale and The Cheetah girls also showed best of their talent during the year. The world also welcomed a new star Hannah Montana, also known as Miley Cyrus. Pop singers like Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Clay Aiken and Katharine McPhee were produced by the popular program American idol.

100 2006 pop songs top pop like ‘Run it’ by Chris Brown, ‘Laffy Taffy’ by D4L, ‘Gold Digger’ by Kanye West and ‘Stickwitu’ by Pussycat Dolls also moved the pop music charts. Fergie landed on the top position during August 2006 with her debut ‘London Bridge’. All in all, the year 2006 was a blast in the pop music industry that featured new faces, new songs and new albums, entertaining the world on its own way. However, you may find that no matter who is the artist of the songs that rated for top 100, none of these artists will never fell inferior if their songs never reach top chats.
